Holy Week Volunteers Needed – The Maundy Thursday (April 5) and Good Friday (April 6) liturgies need readers, assisting minister, etc. If you can help, please sign up in the narthex or see Pr. Melissa or Bob Grimes.

Easter Lilies - There is also a sign-up sheet for Easter lilies. The cost is still only $15 each, with checks payable to St. Peter’s, and flower fund on the memo line, or you can simply use the flower fund envelopes on the table.

And – A sign up sheet for the Easter Brunch and Egg Hunt is also on the table.

Debt Reduction Envelopes
During the last Council meeting it became evident that there was some confusion about the purpose of the Debt Reduction envelopes. When we originally took out the loan, the intent was to repay it by asking people to commit a separate pledge over and above their annual pledge to the General Fund. This separate pledge, called Debt Reduction, would be used to make the mortgage payment. The intent was to not have to use any money from the General Fund to cover the mortgage and just use the Debt Reduction income to cover it. During the first three years of our loan, we had adequate income from the Debt Reduction envelopes to cover the mortgage payment. However, over the years the Debt Reduction income has dwindled to the point that we have had to use our General Fund along with the Debt Reduction income to cover the mortgage payment. Our current mortgage payment is $2,066/month. Last year the average income for Debt Reduction was $900/month. So far this year we are averaging $400/month. If we ever get to the point where the Debt Reduction income is greater than our mortgage payment the excess will be applied towards the mortgage as well. If you have any questions please contact Don Jump.
There is a Prayer Request sheet is found in the worship binder on the table in the narthex. You may also sign up to receive calls either from 9am-4pm or from 4pm – 9pm for the Telephone Prayer Chain. See Marlene Larsen for information.

Unless we hear from you, ALL names of those “requesting prayer” will be deleted and a new list started on April 1. Shut-ins are kept on indefinitely. Thank you.
