You are Welcome!
As a first time visitor to our church, we want to welcome you warmly. If there is anything that you need, you can approach the ushers, the pastor, or any member of the congregation. The church parking lot is behind the building, and the main entrance is through the stained glass doors. On your way in, stop and smell the roses in our memorial rose garden.
You are welcome to participate in any and all parts of the worship service: from praying, to singing, to sharing the peace with your neighbors, and even the sacrament of Holy Communion. Each service lasts about an hour, including the sermon. If you are coming to the service on Sunday, please stay and enjoy refreshments with us at the end of the service. And don’t forget to sign the guest book by the door before you leave!
About Holy Communion
We celebrate Holy Communion every Sunday and at special services. At St. Peter’s, we take seriously Christ’s invitation to communion, when he invites all people to gather at his meal of grace. All people are welcome to gather around the table and share in the meal.
Each Sunday, we offer bread (in the form of wafers, with gluten free wafers available) and wine (in a chalice). You are welcome to receive the bread and then dip it in the wine as it comes around to you. If for any reason you cannot have wine, know that the fullness of Christ is present in the bread alone. You may then return to your seat and have a moment of quiet reflection as communion continues.
